Using the RSP1a with my Yaesu 1200.
Using the RSP1a with my Yaesu 1200.
Does anyone know where I can get instructions on how to connect my Yaesu 1200 to the RSP1A , such as what cables I need, etc and then to my computer so as to use it basically as a pan adapter?
I am new to this so any help would be appreciated.
many thanks
Chris

I know of two options using the 1200.
1: An IF buffer board fitted within the 1200

2: Using a TX to GND switch like the one from MFJ. The model number is MFJ1708SDR version B.

If you go with option #2, soldering to the main board of the 1200 is not needed.
