Understanding low IF mode and IQ output

Post by js9013 » Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:18 pm

I am trying to figure out how best to calculate the power and phase of two signals from an RSPduo used in dual tuning mode.

I understand the RSPduo can only operate the dual tuner in low IF mode. This mixes down the raw signal to 200 kHz, correct? How would this affect the power spectrum of the signal compared to zero-IF baseband IQ data?

I am then outputting this low IF signal to a .wav using IQ output. Does this .wav mean the low IF signal is sampled at 44.1 kHz? Wouldn't that cause aliasing?

Essentially, I want to understand how the low IF, IQ output can be related to the power and phase of the original signal travelling at its carrier frequency. DSP was my worst class in my engineering degree :(

Reason: No reason
