Using RSP1A for AIS signals
Using RSP1A for AIS signals
Hello,
I've recently bought an SDRplay RSP1A device and being a complete beginner I would like to ask for some advice.
I would like to receive, decode AIS signals and store them in JSON format. I've done a lot of reading online but I still don't know what is the easiest and best set up/software to use. I was thinking of using the SRDPlay Raspberry Pi image to start with, but I was warned it may not perform well.
Do you know any useful resources I could look at? Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you
Daniela

Re: Using RSP1A for AIS signals
Not sure if MultiPSK will output in the format you wish but you can use two instances of MultiPSK and 2 VRX's in SDRuno to decode AIS signals. Here are a few links that might help you. You will need a way to digitally pipe the audio from SDRuno into the decoder. I recommend VBcable
