Degaussing Coil as a Loop style Antenna
Greetings,
If you happen to have,or able to locate a TV/Monitor (10 years Yester year Phase out) with a CRT, before you discard it,You can remove the Degaussing Coil located around the CRTube
The Coil can then be used as a Nifty loop style antenna for the RSP2-PRO Hi-Z port

It is compact,no hassle, easy to implement and also can be moved around to suit preferences.
Of course there is the option of 'Rolling' your own loop style antenna.
I have been experimenting with a few different models of HF Based wire Aerials to see how well they perform.
Best Regards.

Re: Degaussing Coil as a Loop style Antenna
I spent 20 years in the TV repair trade and must have scrapped hundreds of clapped-out CTV's but it never entered my head to rescue the degaussing coils. This despite being a keen loop antenna user!

Those multi turn loops have a drawback: parasitic capacitance.
It is very hard to get a decent tuning range with current variable capacitors.
