better alternative to Cubic SDR
better alternative to Cubic SDR
Is there a better program that can connect to a Soapyserver or RSPserver that runs on Windows OS?
Any plans of SDRuno connecting to one of these servers in the future
I'm a bit put off running Cubic SDR for a few weeks now. For me it has a huge lot of missing components and the, after the scene, AGC is awfull as is way to dial in a frequency besides that it has a lot of bugs like screen freezing etc

No, not that I know of. You can wait for SDRuno v1.4 or use SDR-Console which has a server/client already in place. I can't comment on the client/server function in console. I don't use it personally.

Re: better alternative to Cubic SDR
Mike,
I asked Simon (SDRconsole) a few weeks ago and his answer was negative. Later today I will hope to get the console server working from a W10 pc, but the goal was, as I do now, to get the SDRs servers working on a SBC running Linux.
I look out for SDRuno v1.4 somewhere in the future
Thanks, Ron

Re: better alternative to Cubic SDR
Thanks for geting back on the thread.
Got the rtl_tcp server loaded on the Pi but when activating I get this reply:
libusb: error [udev_hotplug_event] ignoring udev action bind
detected RSP model 'RSP 1A' (hw ver 255)
listening...
Use the device argument 'rtl_tcp=127.0.0.1:1234' in OsmoSDR (gr-osmosdr) source to receive samples in GRC and control rtl_tcp parameters (frequeny, gain, …).
Whow can I resolve the libusb error and how can I enter my IP adress in rtl-_tcp?
Best regards,
Ron
